The Section Editor gets its name from the idea that a business can have sections and sub-sections and also that a physical floor can have sections. The focus of the Section Editor is to configure how Sections coordinate.
The configuration elements that can be added to a Section are:
The resulting model configured by the Section Editor is for the SectionModelSectionSource, which is itself a SectionSource and subsequently may be added to other SectionsSources and an OfficeSource. The Section Editor may not have Work added to it as its focus is to provide hierarchical organisation of Sections (and Sub-Sections) of an Office.
As the Section Editor is graphical in nature recorded demonstrations will be used to provide details on how to use the editor. This follows OfficeFloor's principle of performance in developer learning curves as watching short visual demonstrations is more effective and faster than long textual descriptions in gaining the necessary information to start using the editor.
